| 2 — 5 | ἐὰν δὲ καὶ ἀθλῇ τις, οὐ στεφανοῦται, ἐὰν μὴ νομίμως ἀθλήσῃ. | 5 Po edhe nëse dikush ndeshet, nuk kurorëzohet, nëse nuk ndeshet sipas ligjit. | 5 nam et qui certat in agone non coronatur nisi legitime certaverit | {2:5} And if a man also strive for masteries, [yet] is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. | 5 Und so jemand auch kämpft, wird er doch nicht gekrönt, er kämpfe denn recht. | 5 Если же кто и подвизается, не увенчивается, если незаконно будет подвизаться. |

| 2 — 9 | ἐν ᾧ κακοπαθῶ μέχρι δεσμῶν ὡς κακοῦργος· ἀλλ᾿ ὁ λόγος τοῦ Θεοῦ οὐ δέδεται. | 9 për të cilin vuaj deri në vargonj si keqbërës; por fjala e Perëndisë nuk lidhet. | 9 in quo laboro usque ad vincula quasi male operans sed verbum Dei non est alligatum | {2:9} Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, [even] unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. | 9 für welches ich leide bis zu den Banden wie ein Übeltäter; aber Gottes Wort ist nicht gebunden. | 9 за которое я страдаю даже до уз, как злодей; но для слова Божия нет уз. |

| 2 — 12 | εἰ ὑπομένομεν, καὶ συμβασιλεύσομεν· εἰ ἀρνούμεθα, κἀκεῖνος ἀρνήσεται ἡμᾶς· | 12 në durofshim, kemi edhe për të mbretëruar bashkë me të; në e mohofshim, edhe ai do të na mohojë; | 12 si sustinemus et conregnabimus si negabimus et ille negabit nos | {2:12} If we suffer, we shall also reign with [him:] if we deny [him,] he also will deny us: | 12 dulden wir, so werden wir mitherrschen; verleugnen wir, so wird er uns auch verleugnen; | 12 если терпим, то с Ним и царствовать будем; если отречемся, и Он отречется от нас; |
| 2 — 13 | εἰ ἀπιστοῦμεν, ἐκεῖνος πιστὸς μένει· ἀρνήσασθαι ἑαυτὸν οὐ δύναται. | 13 në dalshim të pabesë, ai mbetet besnik; nuk mund të mohojë veten e tij. | 13 si non credimus ille fidelis manet negare se ipsum non potest | {2:13} If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. | 13 glauben wir nicht, so bleibt er treu; er kann sich selbst nicht verleugnen. | 13 если мы неверны, Он пребывает верен, ибо Себя отречься не может. |
| 2 — 14 | Ταῦτα ὑπομίμνησκε, διαμαρτυρόμενος ἐνώπιον τοῦ Κυρίου μὴ λογομαχεῖν εἰς οὐδὲν χρήσιμον, ἐπὶ καταστροφῇ τῶν ἀκουόντων. | 14 Këto kujtojua, duke i porositur ata përpara Zotit, të mos hahen me fjalë, se s’ka asnjë dobi, veçse për shkatërrim të atyre që dëgjojnë. | 14 haec commone testificans coram Domino noli verbis contendere in nihil utile ad subversionem audientium | {2:14} Of these things put [them] in remembrance, charging [them] before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, [but] to the subverting of the hearers. | 14 Solches erinnere sie und bezeuge vor dem HERRN, daß sie nicht um Worte zanken, welches nichts nütze ist denn zu verkehren, die da zuhören. | 14 Сие напоминай, заклиная пред Господом не вступать в словопрения, что нимало не служит к пользе, а к расстройству слушающих. |
| 2 — 15 | σπούδασον σεαυτὸν δόκιμον παραστῆσαι τῷ Θεῷ, ἐργάτην ἀνεπαίσχυντον, ὀρθοτομοῦντα τὸν λόγον τῆς ἀληθείας. | 15 Kujdesu ta nxjerrësh veten tënde të provuar përpara Perëndisë, punëtor faqebardhë dhe shpjegues të drejtë të fjalës të së vërtetës. | 15 sollicite cura te ipsum probabilem exhibere Deo operarium inconfusibilem recte tractantem verbum veritatis | {2:15} Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. | 15 Befleißige dich, Gott dich zu erzeigen als einen rechtschaffenen und unsträflichen Arbeiter, der da recht teile das Wort der Wahrheit. | 15 Старайся представить себя Богу достойным, делателем неукоризненным, верно преподающим слово истины. |
| 2 — 16 | τὰς δὲ βεβήλους κενοφωνίας περιίστασο· ἐπὶ πλεῖον γὰρ προκόψουσιν ἀσεβείας, | 16 Edhe largohu nga fjalët e kota përdhosëse, sepse shtojnë më shumë pabesi; | 16 profana autem inaniloquia devita multum enim proficient ad impietatem | {2:16} But shun profane [and] vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. | 16 Des ungeistlichen, losen Geschwätzes entschlage dich; denn es hilft viel zum ungöttlichen Wesen, | 16 А непотребного пустословия удаляйся; ибо они еще более будут преуспевать в нечестии, |
| 2 — 17 | καὶ ὁ λόγος αὐτῶν ὡς γάγγραινα νομὴν ἕξει· ὧν ἐστιν ῾Υμέναιος καὶ Φιλητός, | 17 edhe fjala e tyre do të brejë si gangrenë; nga këta është Himenei dhe Filiti, | 17 et sermo eorum ut cancer serpit ex quibus est Hymeneus et Philetus | {2:17} And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; | 17 und ihr Wort frißt um sich wie der Krebs; unter welchen ist Hymenäus und Philetus, | 17 и слово их, как рак, будет распространяться. Таковы Именей и Филит, |
| 2 — 18 | οἵτινες περὶ τὴν ἀλήθείαν ἠστόχησαν, λέγοντες τὴν ἀνάστασιν ἤδη γεγονέναι, καὶ ἀνατρέπουσι τήν τινων πίστιν. | 18 të cilët dolën jashtë udhës së të vërtetës, duke thënë se tashmë ngjallja u bë; edhe përmbysin besimin e disave. | 18 qui a veritate exciderunt dicentes resurrectionem iam factam et subvertunt quorundam fidem | {2:18} Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. | 18 welche von der Wahrheit irregegangen sind und sagen, die Auferstehung sei schon geschehen, und haben etlicher Glauben verkehrt. | 18 которые отступили от истины, говоря, что воскресение уже было, и разрушают в некоторых веру. |
| 2 — 19 | ὁ μέντοι στερεὸς θεμέλιος τοῦ Θεοῦ ἕστηκεν, ἔχων τὴν σφραγῖδα ταύτην· ἔγνω Κύριος τοὺς ὄντας αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἀποστήτω ἀπὸ ἀδικίας πᾶς ὁ ὀνομάζων τὸ ὄνομα Κυρίου. | 19 Por themeli i Perëndisë qëndron i fortë dhe ka këtë vulë: Zoti njeh ata që janë të tijtë; edhe: Le të largohet nga padrejtësia kushdo që zë në gojë emrin e Krishtit. | 19 sed firmum fundamentum Dei stetit habens signaculum hoc cognovit Dominus qui sunt eius et discedat ab iniquitate omnis qui nominat nomen Domini | {2:19} Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. | 19 Aber der feste Grund Gottes besteht und hat dieses Siegel: Der HERR kennt die seinen; und: Es trete ab von Ungerechtigkeit, wer den Namen Christi nennt. | 19 Но твердое основание Божие стоит, имея печать сию: ‘познал Господь Своих’; и: ‘да отступит от неправды всякий, исповедующий имя Господа’. |
| 2 — 20 | ἐν μεγάλῃ δὲ οἰκίᾳ οὐκ ἔστι μόνον σκεύη χρυσᾶ καὶ ἀργυρᾶ, ἀλλὰ καὶ ξύλινα καὶ ὀστράκινα, καὶ ἃ μὲν εἰς τιμήν, ἃ δὲ εἰς ἀτιμίαν. | 20 Dhe në një shtëpi të madhe nuk ka vetëm enë të arta e të argjendta, po edhe të drunjta e prej balte; edhe disa duhen për punë të nderuar, e disa për punë të panderuar. | 20 in magna autem domo non solum sunt vasa aurea et argentea sed et lignea et fictilia et quaedam quidem in honorem quaedam autem in contumeliam | {2:20} But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. | 20 In einem großen Hause aber sind nicht allein goldene und silberne Gefäße, sondern auch hölzerne und irdene, und etliche zu Ehren, etliche aber zu Unehren. | 20 А в большом доме есть сосуды не только золотые и серебряные, но и деревянные и глиняные; и одни в почетном, а другие в низком употреблении. |
| 2 — 21 | ἐὰν οὖν τις ἐκκαθάρῃ ἑαυτὸν ἀπὸ τούτων, ἔσται σκεῦος εἰς τιμήν, ἡγιασμένον καὶ εὔχρηστον τῷ δεσπότῃ, εἰς πᾶν ἔργον ἀγαθὸν ἡτοιμασμένον. | 21 Në pastroftë pra ndonjë veten e tij nga këto, do të jetë enë për punë të nderuar, e shenjtëruar, edhe e vlefshme për të zotin, e bërë gati për çdo punë të mirë. | 21 si quis ergo emundaverit se ab istis erit vas in honorem sanctificatum et utile Domino ad omne opus bonum paratum | {2:21} If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, [and] prepared unto every good work. | 21 So nun jemand sich reinigt von solchen Leuten, der wird ein geheiligtes Gefäß sein zu Ehren, dem Hausherrn bräuchlich und zu allem guten Werk bereitet. | 21 Итак, кто будет чист от сего, тот будет сосудом в чести, освященным и благопотребным Владыке, годным на всякое доброе дело. |

| 2 — 24 | δοῦλον δὲ Κυρίου οὐ δεῖ μάχεσθαι, ἀλλ᾿ ἤπιον εἶναι πρὸς πάντας, διδακτικόν, ἀνεξίκακον, | 24 Edhe shërbëtori i Zotit nuk duhet të zihet, po të jetë i butë me të gjithë, i zoti të mësojë të tjerët, që duron të ligën, | 24 servum autem Domini non oportet litigare sed mansuetum esse ad omnes docibilem patientem | {2:24} And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men,] apt to teach, patient, | 24 Ein Knecht aber des HERRN soll nicht zänkisch sein, sondern freundlich gegen jedermann, lehrhaft, der die Bösen tragen kann | 24 рабу же Господа не должно ссориться, но быть приветливым ко всем, учительным, незлобивым, |

| 2 — 26 | καὶ ἀνανήψωσιν ἐκ τῆς τοῦ διαβόλου παγίδος, ἐζωγρημένοι ὑπ᾿ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἐκείνου θέλημα. | 26 edhe të shpëtojnë nga laku i djallit, prej të cilit janë zënë robër në dëshirën e tij. | 26 et resipiscant a diaboli laqueis a quo capti tenentur ad ipsius voluntatem | {2:26} And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. | 26 und sie wieder nüchtern würden aus des Teufels Strick, von dem sie gefangen sind zu seinem Willen. | 26 чтобы они освободились от сети диавола, который уловил их в свою волю. |
