| 1 Iesus ergo ante sex dies paschae venit Bethaniam ubi fuerat Lazarus mortuus quem suscitavit Iesus | {12:1} Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
| 2 fecerunt autem ei cenam ibi et Martha ministrabat Lazarus vero unus erat ex discumbentibus cum eo | {12:2} There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
| 3 Maria ergo accepit libram unguenti nardi pistici pretiosi unxit pedes Iesu et extersit capillis suis pedes eius et domus impleta est ex odore unguenti | {12:3} Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. |
12 — 4 | λέγει οὖν εἷς ἐκ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ, ᾿Ιούδας Σίμωνος ᾿Ισκαριώτης, ὁ μέλλων αὐτὸν παραδιδόναι· | 4Një, pra, nga të dymbëdhjetë nxënësit e tij, Juda Iskarioti, i biri i Simonit, ai që kishte për ta tradhtuar, thotë: | 4 dicit ergo unus ex discipulis eius Iudas Scariotis qui erat eum traditurus | {12:4} Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s [son,] which should betray him, | 4 Da sprach seiner Jünger einer, Judas, Simons Sohn, Ischariot, der ihn hernach verriet: | 4 Тогда один из учеников Его, Иуда Симонов Искариот, который хотел предать Его, сказал: |
| 5 quare hoc unguentum non veniit trecentis denariis et datum est egenis | {12:5} Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
| 7 dixit ergo Iesus sine illam ut in die sepulturae meae servet illud | {12:7} Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
| 9 cognovit ergo turba multa ex Iudaeis quia illic est et venerunt non propter Iesum tantum sed ut Lazarum viderent quem suscitavit a mortuis | {12:9} Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. |
12 — 10 | ἐβουλεύσαντο δὲ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς ἵνα καὶ τὸν Λάζαρον ἀποκτείνωσιν, | 10Po kryepriftërinjtë morën vendim, që të vrasin edhe Llazarin. | 10 cogitaverunt autem principes sacerdotum ut et Lazarum interficerent | {12:10} But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; | 10 Aber die Hohenpriester trachteten darnach, daß sie auch Lazarus töteten; | 10 Первосвященники же положили убить и Лазаря, |
| 11Sepse shumë veta prej judenjve vinin për atë, edhe i besonin Jisuit. | 11 quia multi propter illum abibant ex Iudaeis et credebant in Iesum | {12:11} Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus. |
12 — 12 | Τῇ ἐπαύριον ὄχλος πολὺς ὁ ἐλθὼν εἰς τὴν ἑορτήν, ἀκούσαντες ὅτι ἔρχεται ᾿Ιησοῦς εἰς ῾Ιεροσόλυμα, | 12Të nesërmen një turmë e madhe që kishte ardhur në të kremten, kur dëgjuan se vjen Jisui në Jerusalem, | 12 in crastinum autem turba multa quae venerat ad diem festum cum audissent quia venit Iesus Hierosolyma | {12:12} On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, | 12 Des andern Tages, da viel Volks, das aufs Fest gekommen war, hörte, daß Jesus käme gen Jerusalem, | 12 На другой день множество народа, пришедшего на праздник, услышав, что Иисус идет в Иерусалим, |
| 13 acceperunt ramos palmarum et processerunt obviam ei et clamabant osanna benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini rex Israhel | {12:13} Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed [is] the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. |
12 — 14 | εὑρὼν δὲ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς ὀνάριον ἐκάθισεν ἐπ᾿ αὐτό, καθώς ἐστι γεγραμμένον· | 14Edhe Jisui si gjeti një pulisht, ndenji mbi të, siç është shkruar: | 14 et invenit Iesus asellum et sedit super eum sicut scriptum est | {12:14} And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, | 14 Jesus aber fand ein Eselein und ritt darauf; wie denn geschrieben steht: | 14 Иисус же, найдя молодого осла, сел на него, как написано: |
| 15 noli timere filia Sion ecce rex tuus venit sedens super pullum asinae | {12:15} Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.
These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and [that] they had done these things unto him.
The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
| 18 propterea et obviam venit ei turba quia audierunt eum fecisse hoc signum | {12:18} For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
| 19Farisenjtë pra, i thanë njëri-tjetrit: E shihni se nuk keni dobi fare? Ja bota tek shkoi pas atij. | 19 Pharisaei ergo dixerunt ad semet ipsos videtis quia nihil proficimus ecce mundus totus post eum abiit | {12:19} The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

| 24 amen amen dico vobis nisi granum frumenti cadens in terram mortuum fuerit | {12:24} Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
| 25Ai që do jetën e tij do ta humbasë; po ai që urren jetën e tij në këtë botë, do ta ruajë për jetë të përjetshme. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

| 33 hoc autem dicebat significans qua morte esset moriturus | {12:33} This he said, signifying what death he should die. |
12 — 34 | ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῷ ὁ ὄχλος· ἡμεῖς ἠκούσαμεν ἐκ τοῦ νόμου ὅτι ὁ Χριστὸς μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, καὶ πῶς σὺ λέγεις, δεῖ ὑψωθῆναι τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου; τίς ἐστιν οὗτος ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου; | 34Turma u përgjigj: Ne kemi dëgjuar nga ligji se Krishti mbetet përjetë; edhe si thua ti se Biri i njeriut duhet të ngrihet lart? Cili është ky Biri i njeriut? | 34 respondit ei turba nos audivimus ex lege quia Christus manet in aeternum et quomodo tu dicis oportet exaltari Filium hominis quis est iste Filius hominis | {12:34} The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
| 35 dixit ergo eis Iesus adhuc modicum lumen in vobis est ambulate dum lucem habetis ut non tenebrae vos conprehendant et qui ambulat in tenebris nescit quo vadat | {12:35} Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
Këto foli Jisui, edhe iku e u fsheh prej tyre. | 36 dum lucem habetis credite in lucem ut filii lucis sitis haec locutus est Iesus et abiit et abscondit se ab eis | {12:36} While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. |
12 — 37 | Τοσαῦτα δὲ αὐτοῦ σημεῖα πεποιηκότος ἔμπροσθεν αὐτῶν οὐκ ἐπίστευον εἰς αὐτόν, | 37Po ndonëse bëri kaq çudira përpara tyre, nuk i besuan, | 37 cum autem tanta signa fecisset coram eis non credebant in eum | {12:37} But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: | 37 Solches redete Jesus und ging weg und verbarg sich vor ihnen. Und ob er wohl solche Zeichen vor ihnen getan hatte, glaubten sie doch nicht an ihn, | 37 Столько чудес сотворил Он пред ними, и они не веровали в Него, |
12 — 38 | ἵνα ὁ λόγος ῾Ησαΐου τοῦ προφήτου πληρωθῇ ὃν εἶπε· Κύριε, τίς ἐπίστευσε τῇ ἀκοῇ ἡμῶν; καὶ ὁ βραχίων Κυρίου τίνι ἀπεκαλύφθη; | 38që të përmbushet fjala e profetit Isaia që tha: “Zot, kush i besoi fjalës sonë? edhe cilit iu zbulua krahu i Zotit?” | 38 ut sermo Esaiae prophetae impleretur quem dixit Domine quis credidit auditui nostro et brachium Domini cui revelatum est | {12:38} That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? |
12 — 39 | διὰ τοῦτο οὐκ ἠδύναντο πιστεύειν, ὅτι πάλιν εἶπεν ῾Ησαΐας· | 39Prandaj nuk mund të besonin, sepse përsëri Isaia tha: | 39 propterea non poterant credere quia iterum dixit Esaias | {12:39} Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, | 39 Darum konnten sie nicht glauben, denn Jesaja sagte abermals: | 39 Потому не могли они веровать, что, как еще сказал Исаия, |
| 40 excaecavit oculos eorum et induravit eorum cor ut non videant oculis et intellegant corde et convertantur et sanem eos | {12:40} He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with [their] eyes, nor understand with [their] heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. |
12 — 42 | ὅμως μέντοι καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἀρχόντων πολλοὶ ἐπίστευσαν εἰς αὐτόν, ἀλλὰ διὰ τοὺς Φαρισαίους οὐχ ὡμολόγουν, ἵνα μὴ ἀποσυνάγωγοι γένωνται· | 42Po edhe prej të parëve shumë veta i besuan, por nga frika e Farisenjve nuk rrëfenin, që të mos i nxirrnin jashtë sinagogës; | 42 verumtamen et ex principibus multi crediderunt in eum sed propter Pharisaeos non confitebantur ut de synagoga non eicerentur | {12:42} Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess [him,] lest they should be put out of the synagogue: | 42 Doch auch der Obersten glaubten viele an ihn; aber um der Pharisäer willen bekannten sie’s nicht, daß sie nicht in den Bann getan würden.
For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
| 44 Iesus autem clamavit et dixit qui credit in me non credit in me sed in eum qui misit me | {12:44} Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
| 45Edhe ai që më vë re mua, vë reatë që më dërgoi. | 45 et qui videt me videt eum qui misit me | {12:45} And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
| 46 ego lux in mundum veni ut omnis qui credit in me in tenebris non maneat | {12:46} I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
| 47 et si quis audierit verba mea et non custodierit ego non iudico eum non enim veni ut iudicem mundum sed ut salvificem mundum | {12:47} And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. |
12 — 48 | ὁ ἀθετῶν ἐμὲ καὶ μὴ λαμβάνων τὰ ῥήματά μου, ἔχει τὸν κρίνοντα αὐτόν· ὁ λόγος ὃν ἐλάλησα, ἐκεῖνος κρινεῖ αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ ἐσχάτῃ ἡμέρα· | 48Atë që më shpërfill mua, edhe nuk pret fjalët e mia, ka se kush ta gjykojë; fjala që fola, ajo do ta gjykojë në ditën e fundit. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. |
12 — 49 | ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐξ ἐμαυτοῦ οὐκ ἐλάλησα, ἀλλ᾿ ὁ πέμψας με πατὴρ αὐτός μοι ἐντολὴν ἔδωκε τί εἴπω καὶ τί λαλήσω· | 49Sepse unë nuk fola nga vetja ime, por Ati që më dërgoi, ai më dha urdhër ç’të them e ç’të flas. | 49 quia ego ex me ipso non sum locutus sed qui misit me Pater ipse mihi mandatum dedit quid dicam et quid loquar | {12:49} For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. |
