Joani — Kapitulli 10 | DHIATA E RE | Joani — Kapitulli 12 | ||||
Now a certain [man] was sick, [named] Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
It was [that] Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
| 3 miserunt ergo sorores ad eum dicentes Domine ecce quem amas infirmatur | {11:3} Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
| 4 audiens autem Iesus dixit eis infirmitas haec non est ad mortem sed pro gloria Dei ut glorificetur Filius Dei per eam | {11:4} When Jesus heard [that,] he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
| 6 ut ergo audivit quia infirmabatur tunc quidem mansit in eodem loco duobus diebus | {11:6} When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
| 7 deinde post haec dicit discipulis suis eamus in Iudaeam iterum | {11:7} Then after that saith he to [his] disciples, Let us go into Judaea again. |
11 — 8 | λέγουσιν αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταί· ῥαββί, νῦν ἐζήτουν σε λιθάσαι οἱ ᾿Ιουδαῖοι, καὶ πάλιν ὑπάγεις ἐκεῖ; | 8Nxënësit i thonë: Rabbi, tani Judenjtë kërkonin të të vrisnin me gurë, edhe përsëri po shkon atje? | 8 dicunt ei discipuli rabbi nunc quaerebant te Iudaei lapidare et iterum vadis illuc | {11:8} [His] disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
| 9 respondit Iesus nonne duodecim horae sunt diei si quis ambulaverit in die non offendit quia lucem huius mundi videt | {11:9} Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
| 10 si autem ambulaverit nocte offendit quia lux non est in eo | {11:10} But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
| 11Këto tha, edhe pastaj u thotë atyre: Llazari miku ynë ka fjetur. Po shkoj që ta zgjoj. | 11 haec ait et post hoc dicit eis Lazarus amicus noster dormit sed vado ut a somno exsuscitem eum | {11:11} These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
| 12Nxënësit e tij i thanë, pra: Zot, në ka fjetur, do të shpëtojë. | 12 dixerunt ergo discipuli eius Domine si dormit salvus erit | {11:12} Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
| 13Po Jisui kishte thënë për vdekjen e tij; kurse ata pandehën se thotë për fjetjen e gjumit. | 13 dixerat autem Iesus de morte eius illi autem putaverunt quia de dormitione somni diceret | {11:13} Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
| 14 tunc ergo dixit eis Iesus manifeste Lazarus mortuus est | {11:14} Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
| 15 et gaudeo propter vos ut credatis quoniam non eram ibi sed eamus ad eum | {11:15} And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
| 16 dixit ergo Thomas qui dicitur Didymus ad condiscipulos eamus et nos ut moriamur cum eo | {11:16} Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
| 17 venit itaque Iesus et invenit eum quattuor dies iam in monumento habentem | {11:17} Then when Jesus came, he found that he had [lain] in the grave four days already.
| 18 erat autem Bethania iuxta Hierosolyma quasi stadiis quindecim | {11:18} Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off: | 18 Bethanien aber war nahe bei Jerusalem, bei fünfzehn Feld Weges; | 18 Вифания же была близ Иерусалима, стадиях в пятнадцати; |
And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
| 20Marta pra, kur dëgjoi se po vjen Jisui, i doli përpara; edhe Maria rrinte në shtëpi. | 20 Martha ergo ut audivit quia Iesus venit occurrit illi Maria autem domi sedebat | {11:20} Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat [still] in the house.
| 21 dixit ergo Martha ad Iesum Domine si fuisses hic frater meus non fuisset mortuus | {11:21} Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. | 21 Da sprach Martha zu Jesus: HERR, wärest du hier gewesen, mein Bruder wäre nicht gestorben!
| 22 sed et nunc scio quia quaecumque poposceris a Deo dabit tibi Deus | {11:22} But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give [it] thee.
| 23Jisui i thotë asaj: Yt vëlla do të ngjallet. | 23 dicit illi Iesus resurget frater tuus | {11:23} Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
| 24 dicit ei Martha scio quia resurget in resurrectione in novissima die | {11:24} Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
| 25 dixit ei Iesus ego sum resurrectio et vita qui credit in me et si mortuus fuerit vivet | {11:25} Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: | 25 Jesus spricht zu ihr: Ich bin die Auferstehung und das Leben.
A e beson këtë? | 26 et omnis qui vivit et credit in me non morietur in aeternum credis hoc | {11:26} And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
| 27I thotë atij: Po, Zot, unë kam besuar se ti je Krishti, i Biri i Perëndisë, që vjen në botë. | 27 ait illi utique Domine ego credidi quia tu es Christus Filius Dei qui in mundum venisti | {11:27} She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
| 28 et cum haec dixisset abiit et vocavit Mariam sororem suam silentio dicens magister adest et vocat te | {11:28} And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
| 29Ajo, kur dëgjoi, ngrihet shpejt dhe vjen tek ai. | 29 illa ut audivit surgit cito et venit ad eum | {11:29} As soon as she heard [that,] she arose quickly, and came unto him.
| 30 nondum enim venerat Iesus in castellum sed erat adhuc in illo loco ubi occurrerat ei Martha | {11:30} Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.
The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.
| 32 Maria ergo cum venisset ubi erat Iesus videns eum cecidit ad pedes eius et dixit ei Domine si fuisses hic non esset mortuus frater meus | {11:32} Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. |
11 — 33 | ᾿Ιησοῦς οὖν ὡς εἶδεν αὐτήν κλαίουσαν καὶ τοὺς συνελθόντας αὐτῇ ᾿Ιουδαίους κλαίοντας, ἐνεβριμήσατο τῷ πνεύματι καὶ ἐτάραξεν ἑαυτόν, | 33Jisui pra kur pa atë duke qarë, edhe judenjtë që kishin ardhur bashkë me të duke qarë, rënkoi thellë në shpirtin e tij, edhe u trazua. | 33 Iesus ergo ut vidit eam plorantem et Iudaeos qui venerant cum ea plorantes fremuit spiritu et turbavit se ipsum | {11:33} When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, | 33 Als Jesus sie sah weinen und die Juden auch weinen, die mit ihr kamen, ergrimmte er im Geist und betrübte sich selbst | 33 Иисус, когда увидел ее плачущую и пришедших с нею Иудеев плачущих, Сам восскорбел духом и возмутился |
I thonë: Zot, eja e shih. | 34 et dixit ubi posuistis eum dicunt ei Domine veni et vide | {11:34} And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
| 35Jisui derdhi lot. | 35 et lacrimatus est Iesus | {11:35} Jesus wept. | 35 Und Jesus gingen die Augen über. |
| 36 dixerunt ergo Iudaei ecce quomodo amabat eum | {11:36} Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
| 38 Iesus ergo rursum fremens in semet ipso venit ad monumentum erat autem spelunca et lapis superpositus erat ei | {11:38} Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been [dead] four days. |
11 — 40 | λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς· οὐ εἶπόν σοι ὅτι ἐὰν πιστεύσῃς, ὄψεις τὴν δόξαν τοῦ Θεοῦ; | 40Jisui i thotë asaj: A nuk të thashë se në besofsh, do të shohësh lavdinë e Perëndisë? | 40 dicit ei Iesus nonne dixi tibi quoniam si credideris videbis gloriam Dei | {11:40} Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
| 41Ngritën pra gurin, ku dergjej i vdekuri. | 41 tulerunt ergo lapidem Iesus autem elevatis sursum oculis dixit Pater gratias ago tibi quoniam audisti me | {11:41} Then they took away the stone [from the place] where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up [his] eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
| 42 ego autem sciebam quia semper me audis sed propter populum qui circumstat dixi ut credant quia tu me misisti | {11:42} And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said [it,] that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
| 43 haec cum dixisset voce magna clamavit Lazare veni foras | {11:43} And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
| 44Edhe i vdekuri doli, lidhur këmbë e duar me rripa pëlhure; edhe fytyra e tij ishte mbështjellë me shami. Jisui u thotë atyre: Zgjidheni, edhe lëreni të shkojë. | 44 et statim prodiit qui fuerat mortuus ligatus pedes et manus institis et facies illius sudario erat ligata dicit Iesus eis solvite eum et sinite abire | {11:44} And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
Se ky njeri bën shumë çudira. | 47 collegerunt ergo pontifices et Pharisaei concilium et dicebant quid facimus quia hic homo multa signa facit | {11:47} Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
| 48Në e lënçim atë kështu, të gjithë do t’i besojnë; edhe do të vijnë romakët, dhe do të marrin edhe vendin tonë edhe kombin. | 48 si dimittimus eum sic omnes credent in eum et venient Romani et tollent nostrum et locum et gentem | {11:48} If we let him thus alone, all [men] will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. |
11 — 49 | εἷς δέ τις ἐξ αὐτῶν Καῑάφας, ἀρχιερεὺς ὢν τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἐκείνου, εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· ὑμεῖς οὐκ οἴδατε οὐδέν, | 49Edhe një nga ata, Kaiafa, që ishte kryeprift i atij viti, u tha atyre: | 49 unus autem ex ipsis Caiaphas cum esset pontifex anni illius dixit eis vos nescitis quicquam | {11:49} And one of them, [named] Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, | 49 Einer aber unter ihnen, Kaiphas, der desselben Jahres Hoherpriester war, sprach zu ihnen: Ihr wisset nichts, | 49 Один же из них, некто Каиафа, будучи на тот год первосвященником, сказал им: вы ничего не знаете, |
| 50 nec cogitatis quia expedit nobis ut unus moriatur homo pro populo et non tota gens pereat | {11:50} Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. |
11 — 51 | τοῦτο δὲ ἀφ᾿ ἑαυτοῦ οὐκ εἶπεν, ἀλλὰ ἀρχιερεὺς ὢν τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἐκείνου προεφήτευσεν ὅτι ἔμελλεν ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς ἀποθνήσκειν ὑπὲρ τοῦ ἔθνους, | 51Edhe këtë nuk e tha prej vetes së tij, po duke qenë kryeprift i atij viti, profetizoi se Jisui kishte për të vdekur për kombin. | 51 hoc autem a semet ipso non dixit sed cum esset pontifex anni illius prophetavit quia Iesus moriturus erat pro gente | {11:51} And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; | 51 (Solches aber redete er nicht von sich selbst, sondern weil er desselben Jahres Hoherpriester war, weissagte er.
| 52 et non tantum pro gente sed et ut filios Dei qui erant dispersi congregaret in unum | {11:52} And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
| 53 ab illo ergo die cogitaverunt ut interficerent eum | {11:53} Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.
| 54 Iesus ergo iam non in palam ambulabat apud Iudaeos sed abiit in regionem iuxta desertum in civitatem quae dicitur Efrem et ibi morabatur cum discipulis | {11:54} Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
And the Jews’ passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves. |
| 56 quaerebant ergo Iesum et conloquebantur ad invicem in templo stantes quid putatis quia non veniat ad diem festum | {11:56} Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast?
| 57 dederant autem pontifices et Pharisaei mandatum ut si quis cognoverit ubi sit indicet ut adprehendant eum | {11:57} Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew [it,] that they might take him. |
