1 post haec abiit Iesus trans   mare Galilaeae quod est Tiberiadis {6:1} After these things Jesus   went over the sea of Galilee, which is [the sea] of Tiberias.
And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his   miracles which he did on them that were diseased.
3 subiit ergo in montem Iesus et ibi sedebat cum discipulis   suis {6:3} And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with   his disciples.
4Edhe ishte afër pashka, e kremtja e Judenjve. 4 erat autem proximum pascha dies festus Iudaeorum {6:4} And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.
6 — 5 ἐπάρας οὖν ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς   τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς καὶ θεασάμενος ὅτι πολὺς ὄχλος ἔρχεται πρὸς αὐτόν, λέγει πρὸς   τὸν Φίλιππον· πόθεν ἀγοράσωμεν ἄρτους ἵνα φάγωσιν οὗτοι; 5Jisui pra, kur ngriti sytë dhe pa se po vinte shumë popull   tek ai, i thotë Filipit: Ku do të blejmë bukë, që të hanë këta? 5 cum sublevasset ergo oculos Iesus et vidisset quia multitudo   maxima venit ad eum dicit ad Philippum unde ememus panes ut manducent   hii {6:5} When Jesus then lifted up [his] eyes, and saw a great   company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that   these may eat?
6 hoc autem dicebat temptans eum ipse enim sciebat quid esset   facturus {6:6} And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what   he would do. 6 (Das sagte er aber, ihn zu versuchen; denn er wußte wohl,   was er tun wollte.)
7 respondit ei Philippus ducentorum denariorum panes non   sufficiunt eis ut unusquisque modicum quid accipiat {6:7} Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is   not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
6 — 8 λέγει αὐτῷ εἰς ἐκ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ, ᾿Ανδρέας ὁ ἀδελφὸς   Σίμωνος Πέτρου· 8Andrea, i vëllai i Simon Pjetrit, një nga nxënësit e tij, i   thotë: 8 dicit ei unus ex discipulis eius Andreas frater Simonis   Petri {6:8} One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother,   saith unto him, 8 Spricht zu ihm einer seiner Jünger, Andreas, der Bruder des   Simon Petrus: 8 Один из учеников Его, Андрей, брат Симона Петра, говорит   Ему:
There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and   two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
10Edhe Jisui tha: Thuajuni njerëzve të rrinë përdhe. Edhe   kishte shumë bar në atë vend. Ndenjën pra burrat, rreth pesë mijë veta në   numër. 10 dixit ergo Iesus facite homines discumbere erat autem   faenum multum in loco discubuerunt ergo viri numero quasi quinque milia {6:10} And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was   much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five   thousand.
11Edhe Jisui mori bukët, edhe si falënderoi, ua ndau nxënësve,   edhe nxënësit atyre që kishin ndenjur përdhe; kështu edhe nga peshqit sa   donin. 11 accepit ergo panes Iesus et cum gratias egisset distribuit   discumbentibus similiter et ex piscibus quantum volebant {6:11} And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given   thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were   set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
When they were filled, he said unto his disciples,   Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
Therefore they gathered [them] together, and filled   twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained   over and above unto them that had eaten.
Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that   Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the   world.
15 Iesus ergo cum cognovisset quia venturi essent ut raperent   eum et facerent eum regem fugit iterum in montem ipse solus {6:15} When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and   take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain   himself alone.
And when even was [now] come, his disciples went down   unto the sea, 16 Am Abend aber gingen die Jünger hinab an das Meer
17 et cum ascendissent navem venerunt trans mare in Capharnaum   et tenebrae iam factae erant et non venerat ad eos Iesus {6:17} And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward   Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.
18 mare autem vento magno flante exsurgebat {6:18} And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that   blew.
19 cum remigassent ergo quasi stadia viginti quinque aut   triginta vident Iesum ambulantem super mare et proximum navi fieri et   timuerunt {6:19} So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty   furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship:   and they were afraid.
20Po ai u thotë atyre: Jam unë, mos u frikësoni. 20 ille autem dicit eis ego sum nolite timere {6:20} But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.
21 voluerunt ergo accipere eum in navi et statim fuit navis ad   terram quam ibant {6:21} Then they willingly received him into the ship: and   immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.
6 — 22 Τῇ ἐπαύριον ὁ ὄχλος ὁ ἑστηκὼς πέραν τῆς θαλάσσης ἰδὼν ὅτι   πλοιάριον ἄλλο οὐκ ἦν ἐκεῖ εἰ μὴ ἓν ἐκεῖνο εἰς ὃ ἐνέβησαν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ,   καὶ ὅτι οὐ συνεισῆλθε τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς εἰς τὸ πλοιάριον, ἀλλὰ   μόνοι οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἀπῆλθον· 22Të nesërmen turma që kishte ndenjur përtej detit, kur panë   se s’kishte atje tjetër lundër, veç asaj në të cilën hynë nxënësit e tij,   edhe se nuk hyri Jisui në lundër bashkë me nxënësit e tij, po vetëm nxënësit   e tij, ikën. 22 altera die turba quae stabat trans mare vidit quia navicula   alia non erat ibi nisi una et quia non introisset cum discipulis suis Iesus   in navem sed soli discipuli eius abissent {6:22} The day following, when the people which stood on the   other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one   whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his   disciples into the boat, but [that] his disciples were gone away alone; 22 Des anderen Tages sah das Volk, das diesseit des Meeres   stand, daß kein anderes Schiff daselbst war denn das eine, darin seine Jünger   getreten waren, und daß Jesus nicht mit seinen Jüngern in das Schiff getreten   war, sondern allein seine Jünger waren weggefahren.
6 — 23 ἄλλα δὲ ἦλθε πλοιάρια ἐκ Τιβεριάδος ἐγγὺς τοῦ τόπου, ὅπου   ἔφαγον τὸν ἄρτον εὐχαριστήσαντος τοῦ Κυρίου· 23Edhe të tjera lundra erdhën nga Tiberiada afër vendit ku,   pas falënderimit të Zotit, kishin ngrënë bukën; 23 aliae vero supervenerunt naves a Tiberiade iuxta locum ubi   manducaverant panem gratias agente Domino {6:23} (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto   the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given   thanks:) 23 Es kamen aber andere Schiffe von Tiberias nahe zur Stätte,   da sie das Brot gegessen hatten durch des HERRN Danksagung.
When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there,   neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum,   seeking for Jesus.
6 — 25 καὶ εὑρόντες αὐτὸν πέραν τῆς θαλάσσης εἶπον αὐτῷ· ραββί, πότε   ὧδε γέγονας; 25Edhe si e gjetën përtej detit, i thanë: Rabbi, kur erdhe   këtu? 25 et cum invenissent eum trans mare dixerunt ei rabbi quando   huc venisti {6:25} And when they had found him on the other side of the   sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?
26 respondit eis Iesus et dixit amen amen dico vobis quaeritis   me non quia vidistis signa sed quia manducastis ex panibus et saturati   estis {6:26} Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say   unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat   of the loaves, and were filled.
27 operamini non cibum qui perit sed qui permanet in vitam   aeternam quem Filius hominis vobis dabit hunc enim Pater signavit Deus {6:27} Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that   meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give   unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
28 dixerunt ergo ad eum quid faciemus ut operemur opera   Dei {6:28} Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we   might work the works of God? 28 Da sprachen sie zu ihm: Was sollen wir tun, daß wir Gottes   Werke wirken?
29Jisui u përgjigj e u tha atyre: Kjo është puna e Perëndisë,   t’i besoni atij që ka dërguar ai. 29 respondit Iesus et dixit eis hoc est opus Dei ut credatis   in eum quem misit ille {6:29} Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of   God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
Ç’punon? 30 dixerunt ergo ei quod ergo tu facis signum ut videamus et   credamus tibi quid operaris {6:30} They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou   then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
31Etërit tanë hëngrën mannën në shkretëtirë, siç është   shkruar: “Bukë nga qielli u dha atyre të hanë”. 31 patres nostri manna manducaverunt in deserto sicut scriptum   est panem de caelo dedit eis manducare {6:31} Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is   written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. 31 Unsere Väter haben Manna gegessen in der Wüste, wie   geschrieben steht: “Er gab ihnen Brot vom Himmel zu essen.” 31 Отцы наши ели манну в пустыне, как написано: хлеб с неба   дал им есть.
32 dixit ergo eis Iesus amen amen dico vobis non Moses dedit   vobis panem de caelo sed Pater meus dat vobis panem de caelo verum {6:32} Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto   you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the   true bread from heaven.
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from   heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34I thanë pra: Zot, jepna përherë këtë bukë. 34 dixerunt ergo ad eum Domine semper da nobis panem hunc {6:34} Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this   bread.
35Edhe Jisui u tha atyre: Unë jam buka e jetës. Ai që vjen tek   unë, nuk do të ketë uri; edhe ai që më beson, nuk do të ketë kurrë etje. 35 dixit autem eis Iesus ego sum panis vitae qui veniet ad me   non esuriet et qui credit in me non sitiet umquam {6:35} And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he   that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never   thirst.
36 sed dixi vobis quia et vidistis me et non creditis {6:36} But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and   believe not.
6 — 37 πᾶν ὃ δίδωσί μοι ὁ πατήρ, πρὸς ἐμὲ ἥξει, καὶ τὸν ἐρχόμενον   πρός με οὐ μὴ ἐκβάλω ἔξω· 37Gjithë ç’më jep Ati, do të vijë tek unë; edhe atë që të vijë   tek unë, nuk do ta nxjerr jashtë. 37 omne quod dat mihi Pater ad me veniet et eum qui venit ad   me non eiciam foras {6:37} All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him   that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
6 — 38 ὅτι καταβέβηκα ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ οὐχ ἵνα ποιῶ τὸ θέλημα τὸ ἐμόν,   ἀλλὰ τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πέμψαντός με. 38Sepse kam zbritur nga qielli, jo për të bërë dëshirën time,   po dëshirën e atij që më ka dërguar. 38 quia descendi de caelo non ut faciam voluntatem meam sed   voluntatem eius qui misit me {6:38} For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will,   but the will of him that sent me. 38 Denn ich bin vom Himmel gekommen, nicht daß ich meinen   Willen tue, sondern den Willen des, der mich gesandt hat.
And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that   of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up   again at the last day.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every   one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and   I will raise him up at the last day.
41 murmurabant ergo Iudaei de illo quia dixisset ego sum panis   qui de caelo descendi {6:41} The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am   the bread which came down from heaven.
6 — 42 καὶ ἔλεγον· οὐχ οὗτός ἐστιν ᾿Ιησοῦς ὁ υἱὸς ᾿Ιωσήφ, οὗ ἡμεῖς   οἴδαμεν τὸν πατέρα καὶ τὴν μητέρα; πῶς οὖν λέγει οὗτος ὅτι ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καταβέβηκα; 42Edhe thoshin: A nuk është ky Jisui, i biri i Josifit, të   cilit ne i njohim të atin dhe të ëmën? 42 et dicebant nonne hic est Iesus filius Ioseph cuius nos   novimus patrem et matrem quomodo ergo dicit hic quia de caelo descendi {6:42} And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph,   whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down   from heaven?
43Jisui pra, u përgjigj e u tha atyre: Mos pëshpërisni me   njëri-tjetrin. 43 respondit ergo Iesus et dixit eis nolite murmurare in   invicem {6:43} Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not   among yourselves.
44 nemo potest venire ad me nisi Pater qui misit me traxerit   eum et ego resuscitabo eum novissimo die {6:44} No man can come to me, except the Father which hath   sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
πᾶς ὁ ἀκούων παρὰ τοῦ πατρὸς καὶ μαθὼν ἔρχεται πρός με· 45Eshtë shkruar në profetët: “Edhe të gjithë do të jenë të   mësuar nga Perëndia”. 45 est scriptum in prophetis et erunt omnes docibiles Dei   omnis qui audivit a Patre et didicit venit ad me {6:45} It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all   taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the   Father, cometh unto me. 45 Es steht geschrieben in den Propheten: “Sie werden   alle von Gott gelehrt sein.”
46 non quia Patrem vidit quisquam nisi is qui est a Deo hic   vidit Patrem {6:46} Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is   of God, he hath seen the Father.
47 amen amen dico vobis qui credit in me habet vitam   aeternam {6:47} Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me   hath everlasting life.
48Unë jam buka e jetës. 48 ego sum panis vitae {6:48} I am that bread of life. 48 Ich bin das Brot des Lebens. 48
6 — 49 οἱ πατέρες ὑμῶν ἔφαγον τὸ μάννα ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ ἀπέθανον· 49Etërit tuaj hëngrën mannën në shkretëtirë, edhe vdiqën. 49 patres vestri manducaverunt in deserto manna et mortui   sunt {6:49} Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are   dead. 49 Eure Väter haben Manna gegessen in der Wüste und sind   gestorben. 49 Отцы ваши ели манну в пустыне и умерли;
50 hic est panis de caelo descendens ut si quis ex ipso   manducaverit non moriatur {6:50} This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a   man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 ego sum panis vivus qui de caelo descendi si quis   manducaverit ex hoc pane vivet in aeternum et panis quem ego dabo caro mea   est pro mundi vita {6:51} I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if   any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will   give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
6 — 52 ᾿Εμάχοντο οὖν πρὸς ἀλλήλους οἱ ᾿Ιουδαῖοι λέγοντες· πῶς δύναται   οὗτος ἡμῖν δοῦναι τὴν σάρκα φαγεῖν; 52Judenjtë pra, haheshin njëri me tjetrin, duke thënë: Si mund   të na japë ky të hamë mishin e tij? 52 litigabant ergo Iudaei ad invicem dicentes quomodo potest   hic nobis carnem suam dare ad manducandum {6:52} The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How   can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?
53 dixit ergo eis Iesus amen amen dico vobis nisi   manducaveritis carnem Filii hominis et biberitis eius sanguinem non habetis   vitam in vobis {6:53} Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto   you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have   no life in you.
54 qui manducat meam carnem et bibit meum sanguinem habet   vitam aeternam et ego resuscitabo eum in novissimo die {6:54} Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath   eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 caro enim mea vere est cibus et sanguis meus vere est   potus {6:55} For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink   indeed.
56Ai që ha mishin tim dhe pi gjakun tim, mbetet tek unë, edhe   unë tek ai. 56 qui manducat meam carnem et bibit meum sanguinem in me   manet et ego in illo {6:56} He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood,   dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 sicut misit me vivens Pater et ego vivo propter Patrem et   qui manducat me et ipse vivet propter me {6:57} As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the   Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 57 Wie mich gesandt hat der lebendige Vater und ich lebe um   des Vaters willen, also, wer mich isset, der wird auch leben um   meinetwillen.
This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as   your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall   live for ever.
59Këto tha në sinagogë duke mësuar në Kapernaum. 59 haec dixit in synagoga docens in Capharnaum {6:59} These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in   Capernaum.
Cili mund ta dëgjojë? 60 multi ergo audientes ex discipulis eius dixerunt durus est   hic sermo quis potest eum audire {6:60} Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard   [this,] said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? 60 Viele nun seine Jünger, die das hörten, sprachen: Das ist   eine harte Rede; wer kann sie hören?
6 — 61 εἰδὼς δὲ ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς ἐν ἑαυτῷ ὅτι γογγύζουσι περὶ τούτου οἱ   μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ, εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· τοῦτο    ὑμᾶς σκανδαλίζει; 61Edhe Jisui si e kuptoi në vete se nxënësit e tij po   ankoheshin për këtë, u tha atyre: Kjo ju skandalizon ju? 61 sciens autem Iesus apud semet ipsum quia murmurarent de hoc   discipuli eius dixit eis hoc vos scandalizat {6:61} When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured   at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
6 — 62 ἐὰν οὖν θεωρῆτε τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἀναβαίνοντα ὅπου ἦν τὸ   πρότερον; 62Ç’do të thoni   pra, në qoftë se shihni të Birin e njeriut duke u ngjitur atje ku ishte më   përpara? 62 si ergo videritis Filium hominis ascendentem ubi erat   prius {6:62} [What] and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up   where he was before?
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth   nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are   life.
But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus   knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should   betray him.
65Edhe thoshte: Prandaj ju thashë juve se asnjë s’mund të vijë   tek unë, në mos i është dhënë prej Atit tim. 65 et dicebat propterea dixi vobis quia nemo potest venire ad   me nisi fuerit ei datum a Patre meo {6:65} And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can   come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
From that [time] many of his disciples went back, and   walked no more with him.
6 — 67 εἶπεν οὖν ὁ ᾿Ιησοῦς    τοῖς δώδεκα· μὴ καὶ ὑμεῖς θέλετε ὑπάγειν; 67Jisui pra, u tha të dymbëdhjetëve: Mos doni të ikni edhe ju? 67 dixit ergo Iesus ad duodecim numquid et vos vultis   abire {6:67} Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go   away?
Ti ke fjalë jete të   përjetshme. 68 respondit ergo ei Simon Petrus Domine ad quem ibimus verba   vitae aeternae habes {6:68} Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we   go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 68 Da antwortete ihm Simon Petrus: HERR, wohin sollen wir   gehen?
69 et nos credidimus et cognovimus quia tu es Christus Filius   Dei {6:69} And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ,   the Son of the living God. 69 und wir haben geglaubt und erkannt, daß du bist Christus,   der Sohn des lebendigen Gottes.
70Jisui pra, iu përgjigj atyre: A nuk ju zgjodha unë ju të   dymbëdhjetët? Po një prej jush është djall. 70 respondit eis Iesus nonne ego vos duodecim elegi et ex   vobis unus diabolus est {6:70} Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and   one of you is a devil?
He spake of Judas Iscariot [the son] of Simon: for he   it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
